Rex (Han Fei) is a Chinese national who met Ken in Ningxia province in 2008. Shortly after this time Rex started working with Ken and his colleagues underground mining in Inner Mongolia. He spent the next 6 years working with many different foreigners in many remote and interesting locations also. Rex always had a dream to ride a motorcycle to some areas following in his own father's motorcycle tracks. He bought his first bike many years ago and both his wife and he have enjoyed traveling together by motorcycle to many areas in China. He has also traveled to parts of Europe and Asia.

Ken Holmes is an Aussie who first traveled through China and Tibet by 4WD to Nepal in 2007. In 2008 he returned to China to work in the mining industry. This enabled him to visit and live in many remote parts of China and gave a completely different insight into rural China that no mainstream tourist ever gets to see. In 2009 Ken bought his first motorcycle and together with his Chinese partner started traveling from the far North East of China to Southern, Central and Western China during his free time. Fortunately Ken's wife and friends have helped teach him more than a basic understanding of the Chinese language. Ken, his wife and many foreigners have traveled together in small groups for fun over the last ten years. Ken has also traveled Europe and India extensively, parts of Russia, Asia and most of Australia by motorcycle.
